We recommend staying in Baltimore or Skiberreen. We’ll make sure there is transportation between Skiberreen town center and Liss Ard for wedding events. If you are intrepid and renting a car, the world is your oyster, stay anywhere in the area.
Liss Ard itself was formerly a hotel, but will be operating as a private hire in time for the wedding! This means you won’t be able to book a room directly there, and shouldn’t be concerned if you see that it seems to be closed online :)
West Cork Hotel
- Pros: Near the venue.
- Cons: Rooms may sell out.
Beacon Properties Rental Houses
- Pros: Lots and lots of nice options in the right area.
- Cons: Rentals are typically 1 week long. You can always enquire about a shorter hire but WHY NOT JUST STAY LONGER! :D
Short-term Rentals (Airbnb, Booking.com, The Hideaway Tragumna House)
- Pros: Easier to book only the weekend if need be.
- Cons: Not as many options on offer.
